Asheville mainstay Spiro Nicolopoulos brings the Blues Apocalypse! to Barley’s for a night of soulful grooves, blues, funk and freewheeling jams. A guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and longtime fixture of the Asheville music scene, Spiro is known for stretching roots music into new territory with plenty of improvisation and serious musicianship. Friday night’s trio will also include the famous Jeff Ruby on bass and the incredible JC ears on drums.
